I guess I should explain why I did this. I was browsing DA's Neji pictures, and I found that most of the pictures with Neji's headband off and using the original curse mark have all these comments with someone screaming "He's a Nazi!" and all that. I'm sorry, but you'd have to be complete nimnut not to notice that a) Neji is far from Nazi-ish (I'm fairly certain religions outside of loose Buddhism don't exist in the Naruto-verse), and b) IT'S NOT A FREAKING NAZI SWASTIKA!!
This explains why. People need to brush up on their history before that start judging other people's legitimate deviations. Not that I'm facilitating Nazism, but it annoys the heck outta me to see so many people jump to conclusions like that.
BTW, the Nazi emblem is called the "swastika," while the name for any irregular icosahedron (20-sided shape) is a "sauwastika." There's a difference.
EDIT: Wow, 100 pageviews in 1 and a half days! Thanks, everyone ^_^
In the English anime/manga, it is. In the original Japaese manga/anime it was the sauwastika shown above. But the English dubbers felt that the symbol would givebad reactions, so they changed it to an X-shape. That's probably also why most artists stick to the modified mark anyway.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
