I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to post this. I made this after discovering This was also my first time drawing Optimus. So please don't kill me if he looks horrid TT^TT I am happy to have been "published" with a bunch of other talented artists. I am currently working on a mosaic involving Swindle with Pencilled, inked and CG'd in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Bumblebee, Optimus Prime (c) Cartoon Network/Hasbro Title inspired by the song "Impossible" from Rogers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" Constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated, as always!! Optimus means "the best" in Latin.
Prime means "first". I just felt like you should know. Oh an this is an epic picture. It makes Bee seem like one of those shounen heroes -- This pirate walks into a bar with a big ship's wheel down his pants. The bartender says, "Excuse me, sir, but do you know you have a ship's wheel down the front of your pants?" And the pirate says, "Arr, it's drivin' me nuts!!" I had a feeling that was what his name boiled down to. He and Ultra Magnus have rather redundant names, yes? (If I'm translating Ultra Magnus right XP)
And thanks! I was actually kind of going for that effect. Perhaps a little too much early Naruto in my system at the time -- Cristin: Hey, John, wanna watch Cars? Me: Not right now, I'm busy killing people. --When asked while playing an intense game of Call of Duty 4 I'm sure ultra means about the same thing as optimus, and magnus means huge, so yeah.

I also like how when he think of Optimus as a leader he pictures him the the heat of battle, which really fits him.
